a residency curated by katya selenkina

summer camp

in august, we gather in a warm, attentive community, held by beautiful nature — to rest, work and play together and apart.

the place

fools' valley is just 35 minutes north of lisbon and 30 minutes from the ocean. it holds multiple houses scattered across the land, each with its own character — some for sleeping, some for working, some for movement, some for stillness.

if you'd like to rest in a nurturing community or work on a project surrounded by nature — taking long walks, swimming in a pond, going to the ocean, and offering attention to body and mind — this is a place to do so.

The swimming pond

we'll offer a soft structure: morning meditation or movement, curated conversations, collective rituals, and meals prepared by a chef. the rest we'll curate together depending on the needs and desires of the group — workshops, feedback circles, co-working, beach days, dance parties, listening sessions, screenings, collective cooking. everything is possible.
